New Blog, Old Idea

I know, it's another blog.  I've managed a couple before, but haven't kept up with them in the past.  During this time of isolation, I find myself with time to explore one of my favorite things to do: watch movies and discuss them.  So I've come up with the Quarantine Movie Blog!

Or just QMB for short.  I have (too) many movie streaming services and have devised a schedule to watch the many movies that they offer.  My plan is to watch a movie from one of these streaming services a night and then write up a quick and witty review; as well as scour the IMDB for tidbits and numbers.  Feel free to comment below, share your thoughts and this blog link.  And of course, I will take requests.  One should note that I will probably be watching mostly movies that are considered "bad".  Any award-winning movies will probably not be on my radar.  Then again, I don't mind talking about actual good movies if the opportunity presents itself.  All I do is ask is that you read and enjoy.  Below is my schedule for which streaming service I will be viewing on that day:

Showtime Sunday
Netflix Monday
Amazon Prime Tuesday
Wednesday OFF
HBO Thursday
Disney + Friday
Starz Saturday

Since today, April 19, 2020 is a Sunday.  Tonight's viewing will be 'The Holiday' starring Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black.

Review coming soon...

Opening Weekend: $26.8 mil. Domestic: $73.1 mil. Worldwide: $122.8 mil. Some sequels strive to be better than its predecessor.  Most come up empty and are seen as a cash grab for what they are.  'Zombieland: Double Tap' is a solid movie.  Great for wasting an afternoon on a rainy day or good horror/comedy with a partner for a good ol' night in on the couch.  By solid I mean that the movie does not veer off too much from the first movie.  There are some slight changes to its universe such as varying degrees of zombies and the character themselves have began to settle into roles of a family.  Each of...
