Who is more surprised when Universal Pictures has a hit movie or franchise, moviegoers or Universal Pictures themselves? I watched 'Despicable Me' for Netflix Monday and honestly, I think you should too.  Lets break down the details and numbers. I'll admit that I chose 'The Holiday' as my Showtime Sunday movie because I thought it would be easy pickings to completely riff on the movie for its cheesiness.  I figured that it would be like most Romantic Comedies and would just follow staples of Boy meets Girl, throw in a gimmick, comedy ensues, Boy and Girl end up together.  And with 4 pretty strong leads, I figured this movie might be better than most.  Boy was I wrong...Was.  I.  Wrong. I know, it's another blog.  I've managed a couple before, but haven't kept up with them in the past.  During this time of isolation, I find myself with time to explore one of my favorite things to do: watch movies and discuss them.  So I've come up with the Quarantine Movie Blog! Or just QMB for short.  I have (too) many movie streaming services and have devised a schedule to watch the many movies that they offer.  My plan is to watch a movie from one of these streaming services a night and then write up a quick and witty review; as well as scour the IMDB for tidbits and numbers.  Feel free to comment below, share your thoughts and this blog link.  And of course, I will take requests.  One should note that I will probably be watching mostly movies that are considered "bad".  Any award-winning movies will probably not be on my radar.  Then again, I don't mind talking about actual good movies if the opportunity presents itself.  All...
